with Alex Elliott-Howery (co-owner of Cornersmith)
Once upon a time a well-stocked larder was the heart of a home; filled with preserved foods and condiments, the larder contained all the home cook’s essential ingredients. With an eye on reducing food waste and a passion for preserving, Cornersmith owner Alex Elliott-Howery is reviving the larder to inspire this generation of cooks to get out of the supermarket into the kitchen.
In this workshop you will expand your preserving skills and learn to make larder basics like Dijon mustard, classic piccalilli, harissa to knock your socks off and a beautiful berry vinegar. You will take home what you make plus get lots of tips on how a well stocked larder is the best tool a cook can have.
