This is our sweetest workshop and the one to teach you how to transform seasonal fruit into perfect homemade jams. Alex will share her 10 years of jam making skills with you and cover all of the fundamentals from 'setting point' to storage and explain how important pectin, acidity and temperature is to a well set jam.
Alex will also show you just how simple it is make your own canned fruit! From breakfast fruits soaked in tea and honey to boozy syrupy fruits for desserts, you'll be filling up your pantry in no time.
This class will teach you everything you need to know about traditional preserving including jar sterilisation and heat processing.
Cook alongside with Alex, in the comfort of your own home, with plenty of time to ask questions and pick her brain for interesting flavour combinations.
