With Monica Luppi of Lulu’s Tamales
Tamales are the street food of Mexico and the American South. These steamed and spiced parcels of masa corn dough stuffed with slow cooked pork or vegetables and wrapped in corn husks are your new favourite comfort food. In this hands-on workshop master maker Monica Luppi welcomes you to the tradition of making, cooking and eating tamales.
From soaking corn husks, to steaming and making authentic taqueria pickles and pico de gallo, this workshop will broaden your culinary horizons so far that you might pick up a little Spanish!
