Fermenting Vegetables: sauerkraut, kimchi & brines


A great introduction to the art and science of fermentation

with Jaimee Edwards (founding Cornersmith pickler & fermenter)

The ancient art of fermentation is a food trend that is not going away. That’s because fermented vegetables can make a big difference to your health and are absolutely delicious. In this workshop we will introduce you to all the probiotic goodness by teaching you the science and tradition of fermentation and dispelling any fears. Learn how to make and look after your fermented vegetables and how to enjoy them in your daily meals. There will be plenty to taste and a lots of information to give you the confidence to start your fermenting adventures.

Make and take home:

A traditional sauerkraut
An authentic and vegan friendly kimchi
A seasonal brined vegetable

At the end of the workshop you will enjoy a Cornersmith plate with plenty of ferments and cheese and a glass of kombucha.
