with the Cornersmith team
At Cornersmith we go mushroom foraging every year and this year we are inviting you to join us! This workshop is spread over two days:
Belanglo State Forest: 9am - for 3-4 hours
We will meet on Saturday morning at Belanglo State Forrest (1.5 hours south of Sydney) where we will begin our foraging experience. Meet Alex and Maddy and foraging expert Diego Bonetto who will instruct us on where to safely pick mushrooms. As a leading wild food advocate Diego will share his unique knowledge to introduce you to the traditions of seasonal foraging, the importance of correct identification and how to forage respectfully. Together we will spend three hours hunting for pine and slippery jack mushrooms, stopping for a Cornersmith snack in the forest and learning the practice of gathering wild food.
